Cowl Knitting Project

by Kristen on May 18, 2010

Tomorrow morning I am off to Make One Yarn Studio with my friend Julia.  Julia and I have been trying to get there for a couple of weeks now and tomorrow is the first time our schedules actually work!

Fear of Commitment Cowl designed by Julie Weisenberger

I have a few things on my list to buy.  First off, I want to get bamboo needles to finish off my dishcloth.  This dishcloth is such a great starting project because it is short, sweet and allows you to practice several different stitches.  But enough about my dishcloth, by now you must all be sick to death of hearing about my dishcloth.

The more exciting news is that I have picked a pattern for my second project!  After scanning through several free Ravelry patterns I stumbled upon the beautiful “Fear of Commitement Cowl” by Julie Weisenberger.   I was so excited to come across this cowl because it reminds me of the Olie City Shawl that I featured in myFavourite Things post.

Curious about the project I picked?  Check out the Fear of Commitement Cowl by Julie Weisenberger and download the PDF pattern for free!  The pattern recomends cashmerino super chunky wool.  Doesn’t cashmerino sound delightful?  Still not sure what colour I am going to go with.  Any suggestions?  Also does anyone one know where one can find fabulous oversized buttons online?

Happy Wednesday!
