The past couple of days I have been at home with a terrible cold. I am so congested it is hard to lie down so I have been parked in front of the TV and sleeping in an upright position. While I’ve been parked in front of the TV I have been working on crocheting. If you are a regular reader, you may remember that one of my goals for 2012 was to learn to crochet. With a lot of help from Crafty Minx and all her crochet video tutorials I am well on my way! Seriously, if you want to teach yourself to crochet check out Crafty Minx!
So here is a photo of the swatch I have started. It may not look like much but I am super proud! It feels good to knock off one my goals so soon into January!

I knit and have seen so many things on Ravelry and Pinterest that I want to make that are crochet…. I’m going to make a few other knit things and then join the world of crochet so I’m not limited to what I can do.
