I am sad to say that today is our last full day in beautiful British Columbia. We are going to spend the first part of the day in Whistler and the second part of the day back in Vancouver with JB’s family.
I promise to be back with regular posts next week but for today you are stuck with a few photos I snapped on vacation!
Here are a few photos from the last couple of days. The photos on the left (top and bottom) are of the Peak to Peak Gondola which connects two of the most amazing ski resorts in the world, Blackcomb and Whistler.
Holding three world records the Peak to Peak is (1) the longest unsupported span of 3.024 kilometres, (2) the highest lift of its kind at 436 metres above the valley floor and (3) completes the longest continuous lift system on the globe.
The photos on the right are the view from our Whistler condo looking down towards Alta Lake. Spectacular right? We had so much snow and it was absolutely amazing!
Did I mention that I love the West Coast! I could live here.
