I am looking for new lighting in my house. I am really interested in finding vintage lighting that can help restore some of the character in my 100 year-old home. My husband on the other hand, would prefer ultra-modern looking fixtures (it is always a challenge to combine our two styles). Considering my quest to buy handmade, Big Box Stores are not going to cut it. Of course, my initial reaction was to turn to Etsy. Here are a list of five Etsy stores where you can find amazing and unique hand-made lighting for your home.

Lamp Goods: Lamp Goods has amazing vintage inspired finds at great prices. At Lamp Goods new pieces are created by using frosted, etched and milkglass vintage glass globes and pairing them with new sockets and wiring which are verified by a licensed electrician. Thanks for finding my new light fixtures for me (Although I’ve got awhile before I’ll actually have a house to install them in) – I like the mason jar ones, I’ve got some super old big mason jars that I bought at a flea market for my wedding. I think I (and by I- I mean ‘my husband’) could make them into a light fixture.
