Want to know how to make easy, stylish and affordable wall art? If you answered yes than this tutorial is for you!
I know this tutorial is not super original or ground breaking but it is such a great solution for affordable art. I know I want to change my wall colours and I am not %100 sure of the colour scheme we are going to have on our main floor so this is a great solution for chic decor in the meantime.
To complete this project all you need is a wooden frame (you know the ones that canvas is stretched over), a staple gun and fabric of your choice. I recommend picking something with a big and bold print.
To make this project cut your fabric 3 inches longer and 3 inches wider than your wooden frame (notice I cut my fabric smaller and this made things more difficult). Once the fabric is cut place your fabric right side down ont he floor. At this point you will want to center your wooden frame over the canvas. Wrap the extra fabric over the wrong side of the frame and staple the fabric to the wooden frame. I think it is kind of like wrapping a present.

Thanks for the great idea. I have wanted to get a piece of art for my living room for a while now but couldn’t find anything for a price that I was willing to pay. The finished project looks so chick, this is going to be my weekend project!

We made curtains for our old campervan with this material from Ikea- with no linings. They were so beautiful to wake up to with the sunlight streaming through- like stained glass.
