This weekend I realized that it has been ages since I have blogged about what’s cooking around our house. Over the past couple of months I have not really been interested in cooking. It began to feel like a chore, taking up too much of my precious time. Last week I hit rock bottom. I had Craft Dinner and pizza from a box for dinner two nights in a row.

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F
Place the apples in a 8×8 inch baking dish. Pour the maple syrup over the apples.
In a bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in the flour, salt, cinnamon and oats. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples.
Bake in pre-heated oven for 35 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender.
